๐๐จ๐ฑ๐๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ณ- The ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ง๐ฎ๐๐ฅ ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ of the Capiz State University (CAPSU) Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Office took place at Villa Patria, BayBay, Roxas City on August 14-15, 2024. The event, themed “๐น๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐๐๐๐๐: ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐จ๐ท๐บ๐ผ ๐ฐ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐,” showcased the university’s faculty members’ vibrant research and extension initiatives.
The two-day event featured 64 research papers presented across five categories: Social Science/Humanities/Education, Food, Developmental, and Engineering Categories were highlighted on the first day, and the Natural Biological and Extension Categories took center stage on the second day.
Expert evaluators from academia and industry assessed the papers presented; they provided valuable insights and recommendations on improving the faculty’s completed research. The evaluators were:

The 42nd RDE Faculty Symposium embodied the CAPSU-RDE’s commitment to research and development and its dedication to producing responsive and relevant research and extension initiatives. The symposium showcases CAPSU faculty’s research capabilities. It is a testament to CAPSU-RDE’s continuing dedication to contributing to the progress and development of agriculture, aquaculture, technology, and food security in the province of Capiz and the nation.
