Capiz State University (CAPSU) is holding its 5th University Book Fair today, January 10, at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus Library. The said activity is a two-day event that will run from today until tomorrow.

Dr. Editha C. Alfon, CAPSU President, represented by Dr. Susan O. Dangan, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, extended a warm welcome to the attendees. In her message, she expressed her gratitude to the organizers and participating bookstores and suppliers.

“Make use of this time to choose the best materials that our students would enjoy and utilize productively in the respective programs offered by your respective satellite colleges and campuses,” Dr. Dangan said urging the librarians to pick the best books that would be helpful both for the faculty members and students to use.

Ms. Emmy S. Batuigas, College Librarian I at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus, acknowledged the participating bookstores, campuses, and satellite colleges.

Dr. Marianne A. Escleto, College Librarian IV at CAPSU Pontevedra Campus, presented the rationale of the book fair and mechanics of book selection.

This book fair is an annual activity intended to give the faculty members and students of this University to select books and recommend it to the library, that will in turn purchase it and add to its collection.
