Capiz State University is the recipient of books from Sigmahanon Foundation for Culture and the Arts, Inc.

Fifty books about “Manlilikha ng Bayan,” fifty CDs from Living Asia Channel, and five copies about “Everyday Culture” were turned over to Dr. Editha C. Alfon, President of Capiz State University during the turn-over program at CAPSU Central Office Board Room last January 13, 2022.

The first part of the program was the introduction of the guest which was hosted by Dr. Hazel D. Joaquin, Dean of the College of Education, Main Campus. The rationale was then presented by Mr. Rolly D. Miguel, Executive director of the Sigmahanon Foundation for Culture & the Arts. For the final part of the program, Dr. Editha C. Alfon, SUC President III delivered her response and expression of gratitude towards the Sigmahanon Foundation for Culture and the Arts, Inc.

The event was participated by the members of the Board of Trustees of the SFCA and key officials of CAPSU, including Dr. Susan Dangan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Cleo Jude Joaquin, UBAO Director, Dr. Ma. Dorothee J. Villarruz, Roxas Main Campus Administrator, and Mr. Christian George F. Acevedo, College Librarian III of the Roxas Main Campus.

These books will be distributed to the nine campus and satellite college libraries of the university.
