Capiz State University (CAPSU) is one of the three (3) SUCs in the region to implement the Rapid Appraisal of the Province-led Agriculture and Fisheries Extension System (PAFES) in Western Visayas under the program of the Department of Agriculture.
Inception meeting on the implementation of the project was conducted at MO2 Westown Hotel, Manduriao, Iloilo on February 16, 2022. The ceremonial MOA Signing was highlighted in the meeting. Dr. Pablo Crespo, President of the University of Antique, was present in the meeting while Dr. Efren L. Linan, CAPSU Vice President for Research Development and Extension represented Dr. Editha C. Alfon, the University President; and Dr. Greta Gabinete, VP for Research, Extension, and Training represented the West Visayas State University.
CAPSU Team is composed of Dr. Efren Linan; Dr. Leo Andrew Biclar, Research Director; Dr. Louis Placido Lachica, SSIT-RDC Director; Engr. Monalyn Oloroso and Maritess Villanueva, Research Chairs of Burias and Pontevedra Campuses; and Alvin Bantiquete of Dayao Campus.
The project will commence this February 2022.
