Capiz State University Roxas City Campus welcomed the visitors from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Visayas Regional Office.
The visitors were Condrado M. Cabanol, Jr.; Gregorio E. Baccay III; Olive Jade B. Garan; Ma. Cristina B. Del Rosario; Roxan L. Mujeres; and Ma. Karenz Odchigue, all from Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Visayas Regional Office.
The guests turned over additional learning materials for the Library’s Knowledge Resource Collection, which is the award-winning project of BSP’s Economic and Financial Learning Center. They were welcomed by Mr. Christian George F. Acevedo, College Librarian III of the Roxas City Main and concurrent University Director for Public Relations and Publication, together with the librarians and library personnel. The guests were shown around the Library’s Knowledge Resource collection, as well as the monetary collection.
The BSP contingent also paid a courtesy call to the office of Dr. Ma. Dorothee J. Villarruz, Roxas City Main Campus Administrator, who thanked the team for their visit and enumerated the campus’ program in support to BSP’s mandate.
CAPSU and BSP forged a Memorandum of Understanding in 2019, which links the Library to the Knowledge Resource Network. The two institutions will also foster future engagements towards the advancement of information literacy among the faculty members and students.
