Prof. Caressa Lyn Siglos, Faculty Member and Psychometrician at the Roxas City Main Campus, was awarded with the Jubilarian Award for Education during the Diamond Founding Anniversary celebrations of Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion (CPC). This honor was bestowed upon her last February 25 at CPC Annex, Roxas City.
 
Prof. Siglos graduated from CPC High School Department in 2003. She topped the Licensure Examination for Psychometricians in the year 2017. She is presently writing her thesis for her PhD in Psychology at University of St. La Salle, Bacolod.
 
The said award was given in recognition of her notable work as co-founder of the Western Visayas Psychosocial Support (WVPS), a platform that provided free mental health services to people from all over the country at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and for her current and strong engagement with Lunas Collective as feminist peer support provider.
 
WVPS is a non-profit organization that provides free psychosocial support to those experiencing mental health issues. Through their qualified mental health practitioners and certified mental health specialists, they aim to advocate healthy mental well-being for all by providing psychological first aid and high-quality tele-counseling.
 
With this success of Miss Siglos proves that faculty and staff of Capiz State University is not only the home of champions and board examination top-notchers but also a safe haven of qualified and competent mental health provider.
