A total of 75 delegates from Capiz State University (CAPSU) virtually attended and participated to a 14-day short course program on Indonesian Legal Systems spearheaded by Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (UAD), Indonesia from February 4 to 23.
Out of the 75 completers, 3 CAPSUnians were given special awards for their exemplary performance during the said activity namely: Arjun Allaga, Best Participant from Dumarao Satellite College; Jheza Mae P. Bolaño, Best Presenter from Sigma Satellite College; and Kierl O. Tencio, Best Presenter from Burias Campus.
The conference was intended to introduce and impart knowledge to the participants about the three legal systems in Indonesia: continental law, customary law, and Islamic law, along with its legal culture and its significance to the Indonesian society and state administration.
The participants who successfully finished the 14-day short course program were given certificates and transcript of records as proof of completing the program. They are thankful to the University for giving them one great opportunity to go beyond local and explore internationally.
The said program between CAPSU and UAD was made possible through the efforts of the office of External Affairs and Linkages (EAL).
