The Capiz Institute of Technology (CIT) high school batch of 1974 celebrated their Golden Jubilee Reunion at the CAPSU Roxas Main Campus.
CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus was formerly named Capiz Institute of Technology.
The alumni of the Batch 74 visited the Gabaldon Building, now the university library, which housed their classroom during their school days. It was full of nostalgia as the alumni reminisced their student life at the building, recalling the areas of the library where they used to attend their classes and stayed during their break time.
Trivia: Before being integrated into the Panay State Polytechnic College (PSPC), now CAPSU), Capiz Institute of Technology started out as Capiz Trade School in the early 1900s. It was renamed as Capiz School of Arts and Trades in the 1950s until it was converted into Capiz Institute of Technology in 1969.
