The Capiz State University (CAPSU) Quality Management System (QMS) office revisited last year’s successful International Organization for Standardization (ISO) audit through holding an ISO Post Audit Evaluation Conference with CAPSU internal auditors today, February 15, held in the Boardroom at CAPSU Central Administration Building.
Dr. Editha C. Alfon, CAPSU President, delivered a warm welcome to the internal auditors, heads of offices, campus administrator and satellite directors, and attendees from the three campuses and six satellite colleges of this University.
In her message, she emphasized the intrinsic power of working together – as one CAPSU family, anything is achievable as long as everyone is working and helping one another. Moreover, she expressed her profound gratitude to the diligent employees of CAPSU for the countless awards that this University had received last year.
“A heartfelt thanks to all of you because without your dedication, care, and support, all the awards we received would not have been possible,” Dr. Alfon said.
“Let us not forget to always couple our achievements with good manners and right conduct as we are an academic institution. May I remind each one of you that bad manners have no place in our university.” Dr. Alfon additionally said reminding the attendees to uphold the CAPSU values.
Subsequently, the program then proceeded to the post audit evaluation proper.
Dr. Doreen D. Ata-al, the University Lead Auditor, presented the positive findings and summary of conformity from last year’s ISO audit while Dr. Matilde A. Perez, the Quality Management System (QMS) Director, laid down the opportunities for improvement and audit trail.
