The supervisors from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office 6 visited the Capiz State University (CAPSU) Roxas City Main, Burias, Mambusao and Pontevedra campuses, to conduct monitoring and evaluation of the university’s graduate programs on February 21 to 22, 2024. The delegation was led by Dr. Jimmy G. Tolosa, Officer-in-Charge and Supervising Education Program Specialist (OIC SEPS), with Dr. Ma. Mercedes M. Monsale and Dr. Roxanne I. Edrosolano, both Education Supervisors II.
The CHED supervisors reviewed the university’s graduate programs and conducted ocular inspections at the said campuses. After the evaluation and inspection, the supervisors presented their findings and recommendations before the Central Administration key officials, campus administrators, satellite college directors, and members of the CAPSU community.
The supervisors’ critiques and suggestions for improvement were received by the university, particularly Dr. Editha C. Alfon, SUC President III. In response, Dr. Alfon expressed her appreciation to the CHED supervisors and assured that all the recommendations are duly noted and necessary actions will be taken for implementation and compliance towards the steadfast delivery of quality higher education.
The CHED supervisors admired the full presence and cooperation of the university’s leadership and academic personnel during the two-day meeting. This signifies CAPSU’s commitment to providing quality education and services to all the stakeholders of its graduate programs.
