To strategically manage the university’s financial resources and bolster the implementation of various projects and programs, Capiz State University (CAPSU) convened its 2025 University-Wide Budget Hearing. The event was held at the Boardroom of the Central Administration Building at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus, with remote participation facilitated via Zoom, on October 17-18.
CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan welcomed both in-person and virtual attendees, expressing gratitude to the esteemed panel of evaluators: Regent Rowen R. Gelonga, Regional Director of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) VI; Regent Dennis R. Arpia, Regional Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture (DA) VI; and Regent Elna N. Velarde, Faculty Federation President.
Dr. Wennie F. Legario, Vice President for Administration and Finance, provided the framework for the budget hearing.
The program concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Mark Glenn F. Villamor, Planning Officer IV, who extended heartfelt thanks to the evaluators and participants for their active involvement.
Also in attendance were CAPSU key officials, Regent Mark Andrew L. Delino, Student Federation President, budget presenters, and campus administrators and satellite college directors.
