Students and faculty members from the College of Education at Capiz State University’s Roxas City Main Campus showcased their culinary expertise at the 14th Regional Travel Fair.
Nieves Alcayde and Chiaty Montorio presented their specialty, “Elos Bibingka,” while Michael Vincent Barrera and Melinda Conlu highlighted their creation, “Green Essence Concentrate.” Both teams were invited to the Capiz Booth, where they demonstrated their cooking techniques, last October 19 at Robinsons’ Mall in Roxas City.
The University’s innovative “Green Essence Concentrate Sour Mixes” also took center stage, featuring prominently in the preparation of local dishes, such as Sinigang nga Baboy and Sinigang nga Isda.
Supporting the participants were Dr. Cleo Jude Joaquin, Roxas City Main Campus Focal Person; Dr. Hazel Joaquin, Dean of the College of Education; and Dr. Nedy Coldovera, Research Chair at Roxas City Main Campus.
Congratulations, the entire CAPSU community is proud of you!
