Dr. Efren Linan, SUC President III of Capiz State University (CAPSU) led the blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony of the newly renovated Man of Labor Park of the Roxas City Main Campus and the Central Administration Building lobby today, December 17, 2024.
In his message, Dr. Linan thanked the previous administration of Dr. Editha C. Alfon for commencing the renovation of the Man of Labor Park. He encouraged everyone to help maintain and protect the park as it is an important symbol of the university. Dr. Linan also emphasized the renovation of the Central Administration building lobby as a demonstration of the university’s commitment to truly deliver quality service to all the stakeholders, providing them with a safe and comfortable space to conduct their transaction.
Dr. Linan also shared a meaningful Christmas message to everyone: “Jesus has a heart of a servant, He washed the feet of his disciples. It is proper that we should also emulate this values as leaders of this university, from the top management in the Central Administration to the campuses. Let us embrace leadership with a heart of a servant so that we can truly develop and deliver quality service to all our stakeholders.” Dr. Linan said.
Joining the University President on this momentous occasion were Dr. Mary Ann B. Martelino, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, Vice President for Research, Development and Extension; Dr. Annalie G. Campos; Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi, Vice President for External Affairs and Linkages; Dr. Cleo Jude A. Joaquin, Roxas City Main Campus Focal Person; and other university key officials and staff.
The blessing was officiated by the University Chaplain Fr. Robel G. Gicole.
