The RDE Office of Capiz State University conducted a tri-session virtual training-workshop for the CAPSU extensionists last August 16, 17, and 24 and was spearheaded by the University Extension Director Dr. Emelita P. Solante.
The guest lecturer for the event was the Retired Center Director of ATI (Agricultural Training Institute) VIII, Dr. Vilma Patindol. The focus of the training-workshop was to refine and recalibrate the extension proposals of CAPSU’s extensionists.
The preparatory phase of the proposal writing was also emphasized; giving CAPSU’s faculty multiple analysis strategies and the utilization of concept notes.
On the third day of the training, the extensionists were able to present their recalibrated proposals using the strategies that the lecturer gave.
Each of the proposals was then assessed and furtherly refined by the lecturer in order to achieve a publication-worthy paper.
This training-workshop is a stepping stone for CAPSU’s extensionists in nurturing their adopted communities. Their strategic plans and proposals will one day shape the future of the people of Capiz.
