The Entrep Corner Project of the Robinsons Mall provides partner schools with a month-long immersion in which the students gain invaluable retail experience at the Mall.
This is in line with the College of Management’s commitment to provide a supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem where students’ innovative ideas come to life as market-ready businesses. Likewise, the project is is forged through the Robinsons Mall corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.
The Entrep Corner Project seeks to develop the entrepreneurial skills of the youth at the same time, it provides Entrepreneurship students retail spaces to showcase their products and services rent-free, giving them actual retail experience from profitability assessment, productive development, visual merchandising, packaging, pricing, and inventory to marketing. This will also empower the students with the knowledge, and connections needed to succeed in the fast-changing entrepreneurial landscape.
“The Entrep Corner Project seeks to develop the entrepreneurial skills of our BS Entrepreneurship students,” explained Prof. French Dampog. More importantly this hands-on experience gives them the real-world experience where they can showcase their products and services rent-free, giving them actual retail experience from profitability assessment, productive development, visual merchandising, packaging, pricing, and inventory to marketing.
“This will also empower the students with the knowledge, and connections needed to succeed in the fast-changing entrepreneurial landscape,” Prof. Dampog added.
