To support CAPSU’s commitment towards internationalization, Capiz State University (CAPSU) and Japan Hospitality Learning Center Association (JHLCA) conducted signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and final interview at Capiz State University, Roxas City Main Campus, Conference Room, January 16-17.
CAPSU and JHLCA have picked and ready to send its first five competent and qualified students to Japan for their internship training in mid-March of this year. They will be acquiring work experience and valuable knowledge related to their chosen field while being a trainee in their designated company where they will be assigned.
Present at the MOU signing were Dr. Susan O. Dangan, Vice-President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Marien A. Laurento, Director for International and National Affairs; Mr. Kazutaka Nakao, Chief Executive Officer of JHLCA; and Ms. Marilou Ramos, JHLCA Director.
The CAPSU-JHLCA partnership aims to provide skills intensive training and internship in Japan industries in the first quarter of 2023 to 40 BS in Agriculture Crop Science, 40 BS in Hospitality Management students, and 40 BS in Civil Engineering students, a total of 120 CAPSU students.
The aforementioned activity was facilitated by the Office of the Vice-President for External Affairs and Linkages.
