As part of the Internationalization Activities of the University, CAPSU joins the SEAMEO-TVET, 1st Batch of Virtual Student Exchange Program in June- August 2022.
The 156 CAPSUNIANS joined the 4 week- long exchange which started on June 20, 2022- July 15, 2022 with Unibersitas Brajiwaya (UB) and Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi (UMKO), July 18, 2022-August 12, 2022 for Pangkep State Polytechnic of Agriculture (POLIPANGKEP), and July 25- August 26, 2022 with Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).
The CAPSU Programs included in the exchange are the following:
- BS in Agriculture (Crop Science)
- BS in Business Administration
- BS in Entrepreneurship
- BS in Fisheries
- BS in Computer Science
- BS in Information Technology
- BS in Hospitality Management
- BS in Agricultural and Bio- systems Engineering
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
The Exchange Program, spearheaded by the Office of External Affairs and Linkages headed by Dr. Mary Ann B. Martelino, was officially opened through the virtual Opening Ceremony held last June 17, 2022. The ceremony was graced by Mr. Ansgar Schaeffer, the SEAMEO TVET Coordinator, who commended CAPSU for the excellent and amazing execution of the program having the most number of both outbound and inbound exchange participants. He was joined by the Rectors and Directors from all 4 partner universities.
This TVET Program aims to promote the internationalization of TVET institutions and improve international competitiveness and employability of TVET students in Southeast Asian countries, and to provide the students, faculty and staff with international education experiences.
