Dr. Editha C. Alfon, SUC President III, led the CAPSU delegates who participated in the opening program of the ASEAN Exhibit last August 29 at SM City Iloilo.
The exhibit was inaugurated in celebration of the 56th ASEAN founding anniversary with the theme “ASEAN Matters: Epicenter of Growth.”
Joining Dr. Alfon were Dr. Mary Anne Martelino, VP for External Affairs and Linkages, and Dr. Efren Linan, VP for Research, Development and Extension, as well as Central Administration directors, campus administrators/satellite college directors, and faculty members of the University.
The ASEAN Exhibit is a showcase of the unique cultures of the ASEAN-member countries with CAPSU presenting the Malaysian booth which was adjudged Champion in Booth Making Competition.
The booth featuring the culture of Malaysia was conceptualized, designed and installed by the team of Dr. Ma. Dorothee J. Villarruz, Ar. Ferdinand Delay Jr., Dr. Dennis L. Ledesma, Mr. Marlo victor Bacuna, Mr. Mark Anthony Dayalo, Mr. Danilo Araque, and Mr. Marte Garbo
