Six key officials of the University participated at the hybrid, three-day Regional Futures Consortium Workshop. The goal of the workshop was “integrate the concept of foresighted futures thinking in state universities and colleges (SUCs).”

The online and face-to-face meetings were held from October 4 until October 7, at the Diversion 21 Hotel, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

With the title course, “High Level Anticipatory Leadership & Governance Executive Course,” the consortium workshop was organized by the Philippine Futures Thinking Society and is a traveling series of geared towards integrating foresighted futures thinking among the state universities and colleges in the Philippines.

The first leg of this workshop series was organized in February, with Western Visayas being the 11th stop of this event.

Among those who participated from Capiz State University were Dr. Ma. Dorothee Villarruz (Roxas City Campus Administrator), Dr. Rodyard Madiclum (Burias Campus Administrator), Dr. Sebatian Caduco (Dayao Satellite College Director), Dr. Analie Campos (Sigma Satellite College Director), Dr. Leo Andrew Biclar (Research Director), and Mr. Mark Glenn Villamor (Planning Officer IV).
