To combine expertise to answer bigger, more complex scientific questions and refine varying perspectives, Campus Research Chairs, and faculty researchers from Capiz State University presented their accomplishments and outputs for the first quarter of 2023 at the ATBI Building, CAPSU Dayao Satellite College on April 19, 2023.
The RDE office conducted its first quarter meeting to maximize collaborations by building harmony across campuses. VP for Research Development and Extension, Research Center Directors, Research Coordinators, and Faculty Researchers from different campuses and satellite colleges recently provided insights on their accomplishments, outputs, and the overall status of their research.
“This meeting will give us a better and clearer picture of the research that we have conducted and will be conducting as it is important to share expertise, increase productivity and efficiency, and uphold the university’s commitment to research, development, and extension,” Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, Research Director, stated.
Dr. Efren L. Linan, Vice President for RDE; Associate Professor Jocelyn S. Legaspi, Extension Director; Mr. Mark Glenn F. Villamor, IPMO Director; Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi, CSRDC Director; and Dr. Stephanie S. Pimentel, FFRDC Director were present at the said meeting.
“I hope that during this meeting, you will help me envision the long-term goals of CAPSU through research, development, and extension. And to keep the fire burning in conducting further research of your respective field so that we can help other communities and stakeholders”, Dr. Efren L. Linan, VP for RDE, concluded.
Further, it revolved around funding, budgeting, and examining papers. Researchers were also given critical suggestions and recommendations for enhancing research project implementation. It likewise supports multiple researchers in sharing data, accomplishments, and overall status, which helps them better understand their field.
