Capiz State University (CAPSU), College of Management (CM) conducted a workshop on developing quality learning materials and a crash training on reference searching to its faculty members held at CM Simulation Room today.
Mr. Christian George F. Acevedo, Public Relations and Publication/Instructional Materials Director shared his expertise as he explicitly discussed what and how to prepare and develop quality instructional materials while Mr. Rico Jay Buensalido, CEAT faculty member, explained and differentiated the three databases available for CAPSUnians to use and he did a firsthand demonstration on how to do reference searching.
ProQuest databases contain exclusive reference materials (eBooks, ejournals, videos, etc.) relevant to your studies, assignments. It is very helpful, most especially, if you are writing your research or thesis, or looking for information for your Review of Related Literature.

The short course was actively participated and attended by the CM faculty members where they expressed their gratitude to the quest speakers for all the information they have learned from this activity. Moreover, they hoped for more seminars and training in the future that will further personally and professionally improve themselves.
