January 26, 2023 – In order to be fully equipped with knowledge and be overall ready for internship, the College of Management of Capiz State University, Roxas City Main Campus conducted a Student Internship Conference and Orientation with the theme: “Preparing and Equipping Students in the World of Job in the New Normal” at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus Dadivas Gymnasium today.
Dr. Ian Arcega, Dean of the College of Management cordially welcomed the student-interns and guest speakers. Ms. Valerie Ann B. Dorado, MBA, BSBA Coordinator, was the one who presented the overview of the internship program.
These are the following topics that were discussed during the program: Working Attitudes and Values was discussed by Fatima Mynabelle D. Beldia, PhD; Power Dressing and Interview Logistics was discussed by Kristine Joy D. Sauler, MAED; Writing Resume and Application Letter was discussed by Nedy S. Coldovero, PhD; Anti-Sexual Harassment was discussed by Atty. Roman A. Almalbis; Mental Health and Emotional Well-Being was discussed by Caressa Lyn A. Siglos, MAPSY, RPM; and Internship Manual and Forms was discussed by Donna J. Dividina, MBA.
Generally, the one-day event was not just only productive but also informative on the part of the student-interns. Having the knowledge and proper attitude partnered with dedication and commitment to their work and towards their colleague will definitely take them into greater heights.
