CAPIZ, Philippines- Two campuses and two satellite colleges of Capiz State University submit their curricular programs to the first-ever virtual accreditation of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP) on October 12-17, 2020.
Programs under survey in Pontevedra Campus include PhD in Agronomy; Doctor of Public Administration; Master in Public Administration; Master of Arts majors in English, Filipino and Mathematics; and Master of Science majors in General Science and Social Science.
Roxas City Main Campus and Mambusao Satellite College submit one program apiece- Bachelor of Secondary Education majors in English and Filipino, and Bachelor of Science in Office Adminstration, respectively.
Pilar Satellite College submits a number of programs for scrutiny by the AACCUP, namely Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
For five days, accreditors will examine the documents of each program under survey which can be accessed through the links sent to AACCUP.
During the virtual opening program, CAPSU President Dr. Editha C. Alfon gave her opening remarks and welcomed the accreditors to the University.
AACCUP accreditors were then introduced, followed by the presentation of their local counterparts.
Dr. Lea V. Lustre of PartSU, Dr. Marcela T. Caluscosin of DMMMSU, and Dr. Benhur A. Asid of WMSU were assigned to evaluate the BS in Office Administration program of CAPSU Mambusao.
CAPSU Mambusao is headed by Dr. Adelfo Z. Virtudazo as satellite college director. Prof. Frocy M. Navarrosa, on the other hand, is the program coordinator of BS in Office Administration.
