In her opening message, Dr. Mary Ann B. Martelino, Vice President for External Affairs and Linkages, highlighted the importance of forging stronger partnerships for the growth and development of the University.

“No single university, no matter how large can address future challenges by itself,” she said. “In this era of globalization, cooperative partnerships with other institutions of academic excellence around the world is not an option anymore but a necessity”, Dr. Martelino continued.

Meanwhile, Dr. Editha C. Alfon, SUC President III, emphasized the role of collaboration in pushing the University to greater heights.

“Collaboration among universities here and abroad has always been proven to be crucial in internationalization,” Dr. Alfon said, further emphasizing the purpose and importance of the CAPSU-KU MOU signing as it “features collaboration in the exchange of studies, research, and information in current and new emerging trends, and capacity building in education.”

After the MOU signing, Dr. Alfon of CAPSU and Dr. Srichayet of KU, delivered their message of commitment. The guests were entertained by the CAPSU Main Dance Troupe and CAPSU Main Choral headed by Prof. Pinky Polansky A. Barrientos, Cultural Director.
