Faculty members from Capiz State University (CAPSU) Roxas City Main Campus and Burias Campus, respectively, Dr. Rowena D. Dela Cruz and Prof. Salve M. Ferrer won Best Research Paper Award under the professional category during the 1st Research Competition and 33rd National Conference of the Council of Management Educators and Professionals in the Philippines (COMEPP), held at Newtown Plaza Hotel, Baguio City, November 16-18.
Their research paper titled “Management Capability and Financial Performance of Sustainable Livelihood Program in Jamindan,” bested research entries from various participating universities across the country.
Similarly, Gerald G. Finlac, a student from CAPSU Burias Campus bagged the 2nd runner-up honor in the Business Impromptu Speech Competition.
The said conference had the theme “Charting the Path: Embracing Recalibrations in Business and Management for Praxis in a Dynamic World.”
