College of Management (CM) students from Capiz State University (CAPSU) Roxas City Main Campus bagged several awards during the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cashless Expo 2023 held at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, November 17, 2023.
The said competition was the country’s first-ever Agri Fair and Trade Fair organized by Go Digital Pilipinas (GDP) in partnership with DTI, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), and Department of Agriculture (DA) aimed to encourage micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to shift to payment transactions in digital form.
The students who remarkably represented CAPSU in the said national exposition were Merelle Nicole Olaso, Lovely Bascos, Jeremiah Dajay, and Jan Mariel Bañga, sophomore students taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) major in Marketing Management. They were coached and accompanied by Prof. Donna J. Dividina, CAPSU Roxas CM faculty member.
The expo featured hundreds of exhibitors, among them was team CAPSU, which earned them the following major recognitions:
