Dr. Efren L. Linan, SUC President III of Capiz State University, presided over the joint academic and administrative council meeting – the first for his term. This event was held at the Dadivas Social Hall of the CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus on September 24, 2024.

This event marks the opening of the week-long celebration, the 1st Western Visayas Innovative Startup Fest, with the theme “Bridging Ideas and Opportunities for a Thriving Startup Ecosystem” led by UMWAD Western Visayas, ISAT U-KWADRA TBI, and DOST RO6.

CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan, presided over the flag-raising ceremony of the Central Administration employees today, September 23, in the Boardroom of the Central Administration building at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus.

The Capiz State University (CAPSU), in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region VI in the Philippines, and Hiroshima University in Japan, jointly organized an International Research Colloquium on Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences. The event was held from September 19-21, 2024, in the boardroom of the Central Administration building at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus.

The key officials from Capiz State University (CAPSU) and Hiroshima University, Japan paid a courtesy visit to the offices of the City of Roxas Mayor and the Capiz Provincial Governor on September 19, 2024. The Hiroshima University delegation is composed of Dr. Lawrence M. Liao and Dr. Takeshi Tomiyama, Researchers and Associate Professors of the Graduate School of Integrated Sciences for Life of the said university.

CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan paid a courtesy visit to Cong. Tawi Billones, Representative of the First District of the Province of Capiz at the House of Representatives. Joining Dr. Linan were Mr. Mark Glenn F. Villamor, University Planning Officer IV, and Dr. Cherry Anne M. Deang, University Budget Officer.
