Capiz State University (CAPSU) welcomed the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) – Institutional Development and Innovation Grant (IDIG) National and Regional Monitoring Team. The team conducted a thorough inspection, evaluation, and validation of CHED-IDIG’s additional library computers and stable internet connection project established at this University on April 27, 2021 – April 26, 2022.

The CHED-IDIG central office representatives were Ms. Raphaella Mae R. Navarrosa, Project Technical Staff III; Mr. Gerhald I. Villasis, Project Technical Staff III; Ms. Coleen B. Moog, EPS II of the Office of Planning, Research and Knowledge Management (OPRKM); and Mr. Benjie O. Crusis, Project Technical Staff I of the Administrative, Financial and Management Service (AFMS). Likewise, the CHED-IDIG regional representatives were composed of Mr. Paulo Cabanero, Education Supervisor II; Ms. Margie Rose O. Bellos, Project Technical Staff III; and Ms. Clarise Jacosalem, Project Technical Staff II.

The said monitoring encompassed CAPSU’s three campuses and six satellite colleges from October 23-26, 2023.

A brief program was held in the Boardroom at CAPSU Central Administration Building before the official on-site monitoring began. Similarly, a brief open forum was convened at CAPSU Sigma where the monitoring team shared their valuable insights and commendations for the excellent project management.

Throughout the monitoring process, the team were accompanied by Dr. Editha C. Alfon, SUC President III; Dr. Susan O. Dangan, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA); Dr. Wennie F. Legario, Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF); Dr. Rosel L. Diono, Quality Assurance (QA) Director; Mr. Leo Anthony Navarrosa, Management Information Systems (MIS) Director; campus administrators and college satellite directors; librarians at each campus or satellite college; Mr. Rendon V. Marquez, MIS Staff; and Mr. Marco Jeslie B. Tuazon, Information Officer I.
