Regional winners of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Pagasa Award both in individual and group category from Capiz State University were recognized and personally received their award during the Pasidungog 2024: Awards Rites for the Regional Winners and National Semi-Finalists of the 2024 Search for Outstanding Government Workers in Region 6 conferred by the CSC Regional Office No. 6.

Engr. Monalyn L. Oloroso, Associate Professor V at Capiz State University – Burias Campus, is the regional winner of the CSC Pagasa Award (individual category) for her outstanding contribution to agricultural and biosystems engineering.

Likewise, the Intellectual Property Management Office (IPMO) of this University, is the regional winner of the CSC Pagasa Award (group category) for their exceptional work in establishing a robust framework for intellectual property governance. The IPMO team is composed of Mr. Mark Glenn F. Villamor, Planning Officer IV as the team leader with Prof. Rosine O. Labado, Associate Professor V; and Prof. French A. Dampog, Assistant Professor I; and Prof. Princess Lydia S. Fuentes, Associate Professor I, as the members.

Also present also during the awarding ceremony were Dr. Wennie F. Legario, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Leo Andrew B. Biclar, Officer-In-Charge for Research, Development, and Extension (RDE); and Ms. Myleen C. Abelarde, Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO)/Human Resource Management Officer (HRMO).
