The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Board of Mechanical Engineering announced on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, that 65 out of 108 takers (60.19%) successfully passed the Certified Plant Mechanic Licensure Examination (CPMLE) including the 20 CPMs from Capiz State University – Roxas City Main Campus, College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology (CEAT).

DOST-PCAARRD backs CAPSU’s 5-year, P25.7 million Coconut Hybridization Projects.
To address important matters regarding the newly approved funded projects of Capiz State University (CAPSU) within the Coconut Hybridization Program of the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), an Inception Meeting was held on February 22-23, 2024, at CAPSU Dayao Satellite College, ATBI Building, Roxas City, Capiz.
CHED RO6 Supervisors visit CAPSU
The supervisors from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office 6 visited the Capiz State University (CAPSU) Roxas City Main, Burias, Mambusao and Pontevedra campuses, to conduct monitoring and evaluation of the university’s graduate programs on February 21 to 22, 2024. The delegation was led by Dr. Jimmy G. Tolosa, Officer-in-Charge and Supervising Education Program Specialist (OIC SEPS), with Dr. Ma. Mercedes M. Monsale and Dr. Roxanne I. Edrosolano, both Education Supervisors II.
