Capiz State University welcomed the members of the National Field Evaluation Team of the 23rd Gawad Kalasag Award. The University, which was shortlisted as one of the finalists to Special Award for Best Higher Education Institution Category.

Capiz State University’s Fisheries and Food Research Development Center (FFRDC) recently organized a Training Workshop on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for CAPSU RDE Centers Staff on October 11-13, 2023, at CAPSU Dayao Satellite College, Dayao, Roxas City.

Capiz State University (CAPSU) Sigma Satellite College organized a program to honor its teachers, employees, and retirees. The awarding ceremony took place in the Cultural Center at CAPSU Sigma Satellite College on October 10 in celebration of the World Teachers’ Day and as part of the 123rd anniversary of Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Rodgen A. Diaz (BSEd – English), Angeline Arciga (BSEd – English), and Rency De Blas (BSEd – Science), the participants of the program, received warm farewell as they take flight headed to Indonesia where they will be taking their Field Study as representatives of CapSU Main – College of Education for the aforementioned program.

Dr. Susan A. Diosalan and Mr. Christian M. Martinez, both faculty members of the Roxas City Main Campus, snapped top honors at the Escritos del Sur: 4th International Conference on Multidisciplinary Research (ICMR) 2023.

RISE Capiz, CAPSU’s research and development program for sustainable ecotourism, was awarded second runner-up in StudyPH Sustainable Education Tourism Award during the Commission on Higher Education’s ICONS Award 2023.

The IPMO Technology Transfer Team continued on the fourth day of their Campus Focus Group Discussion on Technology Transfer Awareness at CAPSU Burias Campus. Under the leadership of Dr. Efren L. Linan, the VP for Research Development and Extension, the team was welcomed by Dr. Rodyard B. Madiclum, the Burias Campus Administrator.
