Prof. Caressa Lyn Siglos, Faculty Member and Psychometrician at the Roxas City Main Campus, was awarded with the Jubilarian Award for Education during the Diamond Founding Anniversary celebrations of Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion (CPC). This honor was bestowed upon her last February 25 at CPC Annex, Roxas City.

128th Birthday Anniversary of Jovita Fuentes
Today we celebrate the 128th birth anniversary of Jovita Fuentes, Capizeña, opera legend, and the first National Artist for Music.
Jovita Fuentes was born on February 15, 1895 in what was then the town of Capiz, now Roxas City, in the province of Capiz. Long before Lea Salonga conquered Broadway, our very own Jovita Fuentes achieved stellar heights as a stage legend.

February 14, 2023 – To show oneness support against all forms of discrimination and violence, Capiz State University, Roxas City Main Campus danced in unison the One Billing Rising (OBR) global movement song, a call to end Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC) at CAPSU Dadivas Gymnasium today.
