The Capiz State University (CAPSU) recently welcomed a delegation from John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) – Arevalo Campus for a two-day benchmarking activity. The visit was held on October 9-10 in the Boardroom of the Central Administration Building at CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus, focused on exploring the best practices, initiatives, and programs of CAPSU’s Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (DRRMO).

The different work areas of Capiz State University (CAPSU) – Roxas City Main Campus underwent a thorough evaluation of the completeness and readiness of their International Organization for Standardization (ISO) documentation during a two-day internal audit conducted by CAPSU Pilar Satellite College. The audit took place in the Conference Room on October 8-9.

Selected officials and staff from the Capiz State University (CAPSU) Central Administration Office visited the Mambusao Satellite College to evaluate the readiness of their ISO 9001:2015 documents on October 9, 2024.

Dr. Efren L. Linan, together with the key officials, students, faculty members and staff, is one with the Department of Energy in implementing energy efficiency and conservation in the government.

The Capiz State University’s Research, Development, and Extension (CAPSU-RDE) Office is making strides toward the internationalization of its research and extension programs through the recently concluded activity entitled Strategizing Internationalization of CAPSU-Research and Extension Programs held at at the CAPSU-Central Board Room, Roxas City, Capiz on October 03, 2024.

CAPSU President Dr. Efren L. Linan continued his campus and satellite college tour on October 4, 2024 with visits in Dumarao and Tapaz Satellite Colleges. These series of visits aimed to present the newly installed President’s vision, mission, agenda and plans to the University stakeholders.
