Ms. Lisa J. Paguntalan, Executive Director of the Philippine Biodiversity Conservation Foundation Inc. (PhilBio) paid a visit to Dr. Editha C. Alfon.

Dr. Paguntalan presented Dr. Alfon with an update on the organization’s plans and programs within the province of Capiz.

PhilBio, through its Biodiversity Sustainable Ecosystem Restoration in Unprotected Rainforest of Western Visayas (Bio-SECURE) project with USAID INSPIRE Grant, opens opportunity to discuss conservation of biodiversity in the country particularly the Western Visayas Region.

With this Dr. Paguntalan hopes to forge future engagements with CAPSU. The said visit was meaningfully productive and would benefit not only the environment but also the people of Capiz.

Present during the visit was Dr. Harold O. Buenvenida, Faculty-in-Charge of the Capiz Ecology and Ecoloy Center of CAPSU Pontevedra Campus.
