The Capiz State University (CAPSU) community congratulates the following faculty researchers of CAPSU Roxas City Main Campus – College of Management (CM), who represented this university and earned top award and recognition at the 34th Council of Management Educators and Professionals in the Philippines, Inc. (COMEPP) National Conference.

The conference had the theme, “Re-envisioning Business and Management in a Digital World: Strategies for Sustainable Innovation and Global Competitiveness,” that took place at Bohol Tropics Resort, in Tagbilaran City, on November 20-22, 2024.

Dr. Ian B. Arcega, dean of College of Management and Mr. Rimark D. Camulo, faculty member, were named as the national champion in research oral presentation category for their paper titled, “Indigenous Perspectives on Entrepreneurial Leadership and Strategies for Long-term Economic Growth.”

Apart from the research accolade earned, Dr. Rowena Cristina D. Dela Cruz, another distinguished CM faculty member, was elected as a national officer of COMEPP.

Also represented CAPSU at the conference were Prof. Salve M. Ferrer, current COMEPP Vice President for Western Visayas; Prof. Rosemarie L. Luces and Prof. Regine B. Aller, both faculty members of CM; along with Niel Higo, Jan Marie C. Banga, and Natasha T. Abool, CM students who also participated and presented their study at the event.
