Capiz State University- Main Campus continues to yield history as it produced 20 Professional Architects with 76.92% passing rate last June 17 and 19, 2022.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 3, 037 out of 4766 successfully passed the recently concluded June 2022 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE).
“Gaining experiences while preparing myself for the board exam was quite hard to manage but life was tougher so there was no excuse of complaining,” Ar. Nicanor Dulfo Burata Jr. said.
“I took the board exam with fear, anxiety, pressure, and uncertainty but on the other hand with excitement, happiness, and hope. I was really driven to get my license at that time to end my doubts, financial struggles, and mental droughtiness and to prove my worth. It was never an easy battle, to begin with, bang, I was hit hard by reality! I failed!” he added.
As the pandemic hit the world, everything changed. Life has never been easy as it was before.
“Our experience in Manila, where we had to temporarily reside in an apartment for three months due to lockdown, is incomprehensible, and our food was only from the support of the local government and we only purchased at mercury drug stores for our basic needs, “Ar. Gretchie Andion stated.
Despite their strange experiences and contradictory feelings, they attained the success they had hoped for several years.
“To those who are along the way, keep moving forward! Failing to pass doesn’t mean you are less capable at the field you chose. Keep the fire burning and strive harder! Everything falls into its place, at the right time! Trust Him! I can now truly say that the learnings along the way instilled in myself made me holistically prepared for my future endeavors” Burata added.
“Never forget to ask for guidance from God for the next students who will take the board exam, because if you have a problem, he will give you a solution, and he will give you what you want at the proper moment, which is absolutely worth it,” Andion said.
“Furthermore, the favorable influence of classmates having a pleasant attitude toward one another is tremendous. We must not say anything that would undermine their self-esteem; instead, we must assist them and instill confidence in them that we can,”she added.
It should be remarked that CapSU has been producing high-quality graduates for decades and will continue to be a center of academic excellence by consistently providing quality service to all.
