CAPSU Roxas City’s student-initiated environmental advocacy group received the province’s top honors for environmental advocacy.

The Capiz Eco-Youth Volunteers-CAPSU Main Campus Chapter was awarded the Dungog Lunhaw Award for organizational category for “Project PAMANA: Building Resilient Communities through Tree Growing Activities.” The proponents were April Argos and Ma Ellaine Dorado Bayes and Capiz Eco-Youth Volunteers Capsu Main Chapter.

Meanwhile, April Joy Aranas Villagracia of the College of management won in the Individual Category for her project “Sagip-Basura: A Commitment to Mananing Waste Responsibly”

Organized by the Capiz Provincial Environment and Natural Resources, the Dungog Lunhaw 2023 Awards was held in November 29, 2023, at El Circulo Convention Center in Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City.
