On December 20, 2024, Capiz State University (CAPSU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Letter of Intent to Partner with Agusan Del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology, University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, and Kasetsart University- Thailand.
The signing ceremony coincided with the investiture of the University President, Dr. Efren L. Linan. Key officials from the partner institutions joined the celebration, signifying their commitment to collaborate with CAPSU in advancing instruction, research, extension, production, and internationalization.
Present during the signing ceremony were Dr. Efren L. Linan, SUC President III, Dr. Leo Andre B. Biclar, VP for RDE; Dr. Salvacion J. Legaspi, VP for EAL; Dr. Stephanie S. Pimentel, University Research Director and Dr. Marien Laureto, Director for National and International Affairs of CAPSU. Representing Agusan Del Sur State College was University President Dr. Joy Capistrano. The University of Negro Occidental- Recoletos was represented by University President Rev. Fr. Joel Alve, along with Rev. Romeo Ben Potencio, VP for Academics and Research; Rev. Fr. Leo Alaras, VP for Identity, Formation, and Mission; and Dr. Agnes Sequino, Director, Office of International Affairs. Kasetsart University was represented by Dr. Donludee Jaisut, Associate Dean, International Relations, Faculty of Agriculture. Ms. Jennifer Montero from Camosun College in Canada also attended the event.
This partnership marks a significant step forward for CAPSU in expanding its local and global reach, fostering collaborative efforts that will drive institutional development and excellence.
